Insert TIFF
The ProScan Insert TIFF feature allows you to merge pages from one TIFF file into another without scanning. Available from a button on the Scan Manager toolbar, you open a TIFF and page through it with the built-in a viewer. Then you can insert one or all pages of an external TIFF into any page position of the TIFF loaded in the Scan Manager.
Note that this is a similar to a new feature in ProImage 3.0 that allows you to Load From TIFF, however ProImage can only load ONE page from the external TIFF (since ProImage is a single image paradigm).

Insert ( and Optionally Repair ) FAX
The ProScan Insert FAX feature allows you to merge pages from a FAX document saved as a TIFF file into any page position of the TIFF loaded in the Scan Manager. Available from a button on the Scan Manager toolbar, toolbar, you open a FAX TIFF and page through it with the built-in a viewer. Then you can insert one or all pages of an external FAX TIFF with ease. The Insert FAX feature also has a "Repair" feature that will let you correct for FAX pages that were sent with a lower vertical resolution. This eliminates the "squished" effect of such documents.
Note that this is a similar to a new feature in ProImage 3.0 that allows you to Load From FAX, however ProImage can only load ONE page from the external FAX TIFF (since ProImage is a single image paradigm).

Advanced Print Control Dialog
The ProScan Advanced Print Control dialog gives you a Windows type print control for your TIFF files. You can print ALL the pages, the CURRENT page, a FROM - TO page number range and even advanced PAGES range such as 1,3,7-10,15,20-30. It will also allow you to select a printer for the TIFF and remember that the next time you go to print.

Advanced Export to PDF Control Dialog
The ProScan Advanced Export to PDF Control dialog is similar to the Advanced Print Control in the way that it allows you to chose a range of pages of the TIFF to export to a PDF file.

Fine Control over ProSeries Utilities
The ProScan templates now have conditional generation of the class declarations for the Path and Registry classes on every extension, control and code template. This allows the developer total control to mix and match templates without worries about duplicate errors.

- Improved and Updated Installer
ProImage has a new installer that supports:
- Clarion 8.x
- Clarion 7.x
- Clarion 6.x
- Clarion 5.5
This is a smart installer that allows you to install ProScan for multiple versions of Clarion without overwriting entries in the Add/Remove programs. You can also uninstall one version without removing the other.
The new installer will also remember the location where you install the example files for each version of Clarion and make that the default location when you install updates.
