ProImage 4.0 has important changes.

• Clarion 10 support

All our templates that support Clarion 9.x or greater have been bumped to version 4 to make it easy for developers to know if they have a version that works with Clarion 10 or Clarion 9.x.

New Major Feature Alert

• ImageAssembler Templates

ProImage now has templates for the ImageAssembler class! These make it easy for you to add one or more lines of text as top and/or bottom captions on your images. The text can be static strings or data from variables. 

There are two different types of templates.  One is a button template which adds text to the image when the user clicks the button.  The other is a CODE template that allows you to add text to an image automatically.

The text can be displayed dynamically without updating the source image or the updated image can be saved to a file or updated back to the database.

• ImageAssembler Documentation

Documentation for the ImageAssembler class has been added to the help file.  When combined with the ability to see the code generated by the new ImageAssembler Templates and the two new demo applications, it will make it easy for you to create your own multilayer images.

• Improvements and Fixes

There have been a number of minor improvements and tweaks to the templates as well as some small bug fixes.
