ProScan was designed to easily interface with ProImage.

 

This allows ProImage to serve as a page editor for ProScan (making it easy to crop scanned content as needed as shown here).

 

You can also use ProImage to insert digital photos directly into the TIFF as shown here:

 

 

Having ProImage integrated with ProScan also means that you can improve the quality of photos as they are inserted into the TIFF.
