In addition to the First Deploy rules that allow for automatic deployment when your program starts, you can also use the #CODE templates provided to deploy a data set "on demand".

 

All you need to do is insert the #CODE template on the button or menu link of your choice.

 

 

Deploy an Export Group as a Data Set

 

 

This #CODE template will deploy one of the export groups marked in the ProPath Global Extension template as a data set.

 

If the "Prompt user for overwrite" box is checked and the file exists, the user will be asked to confirm the file replacement.

 

 

Note:  if you need to deploy a multi-level data set, you simply use more than one #CODE template.  See Demo 16 for an example.
