They list different scenarios in which you might use ProPath and link to example screen shots of how to set everything up.

 

Configuration #1 - The Basic with CSIDL Control

 

•All data and INI files go into one folder

•The data path location is set by CSIDL and template values

•The application INI file is managed by ProPath

•CapeSoft's FM3 is included in the application

 

 

Configuration #2 The Basic with Registry Control

 

•All data and INI files go into one folder

•The data path location is set from a Windows Registry value

•The application INI file is managed by ProPath

•CapeSoft's FM3 is included in the application

•First Run is enabled and the user can confirm a location suggested by a CSIDL value or change it

•Developer Mode is enabled and controlled by an External INI file

 

 

Configuration #3 Dual Paths with CSIDL Control

 

•Most data files go into the MAIN folder

•Control data files and INI files go into the SYSTEM folder

•Both data paths have their location set by CSIDL and template values

•The application INI file is managed by ProPath

•CapeSoft's FM3 is included in the application

•First Run is disabled because the path is preset

•Developer Mode is enabled and controlled by an External INI file

 

 

Configuration #4 Dual Paths with Registry Control

 

•Most data files go into the MAIN folder

•Control data files and INI files go into the SYSTEM folder

•Both data paths have their location set by the Windows Registry

•The application INI file is managed by ProPath

•CapeSoft's FM3 is included in the application

•First Run is enabled and the user can confirm locations suggested by CSIDL values or change it

•Developer Mode is enabled and controlled by an External INI file

•Developer Mode is enabled and controlled by an External INI file
