ProScan has the following requirements:

Clarion Versions

C55H

Clarion 6.x

Clarion 7.X

Clarion 8.x

Clarion 9.x

As of version 1.5, ProScan is backwards compatible with Clarion 5.5H. Since it is based on ImageEx (which works with C55), there should not be any problems with it, but we do not provide technical support for any version older than C55 revision H.

ProScan works with any of the Clarion 6.x releases

ImageEx Versions

clip0057

ImageEx 4.0 or better (for Clarion 7/8 - Clarion 9 requires ImageEx 5.0 or better).

Note that ImageEx 5.0 removes the LIB files that linked it to a specific Clarion version.  Since ProScan is not linked to a specific version of Clarion this helps protect your development efforts for the future.

ProScan requires a minimum version of ImageEx 3.6.  If you are running an older version, please contact Solid Software to obtain an upgrade.  When you upgrade to ImageEx 3.6 we advise uninstalling versions older than ImageEx 3.5 and making sure you do not have any of the old ImageEx DLLs scattered about on your system.

You can get more information on ImageEx at the Solid Software website www.solidsoftware.de

ProScan is a full source code product and does not have any black-box DLLs

There is one small LIB file included (made with Libmaker) that allows the RegINI class to access the Windows "Special folder" locations, but instructions on how to create this LIB are available freely in the Clarion newsgroups.
